I had a wonderful time showing my support for the LGBTQ community on Saturday in Ferndal, MI. With amazing music, great people, and a beautiful commitment ceremony, it's something that everyone should experience.

Cassandra's Birthday at Churchill's
My friend Cassandra VanDyke had a her birthday party at the local hotspot Churchill's, with music spun by the ever awesome Michael Absher. There was much partying to be had, and I thought I would get a little party artistic as a gift.

Farewell, Jellybeans
Wednesday night a used bookstore I traversed as a child was struck by lightening and consumed by fire. I have fond memories of the establishment from an early age, but not the best of experiences recently. Still, it's a sad day when Flint loses a location that is a staple to people of my generation.
